As a hotel management trainee, you’ll be the all-rounder in the hotel and gain in-depth insight into all areas of the business. What is the application process like?

We prefer applications to be submitted online directly via our website or by email to jobs(at)elldus.de. Please refrain from sending paper applications by post – for the sake of the environment. Your point of contact during the application process is Mareike Bergelt. She will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and will get in touch with you once you have submitted your application.

Can I apply even if I have no experience?

Yes! People changing careers are very much welcome. We’ll provide you with a structured induction – your personality counts for more than your CV.

Is there staff accommodation?

Get in touch – we’ll help you find accommodation in and around Oberwiesenthal and work with you to find a solution.

What are the working hours like?

Our rota is drawn up in advance – so that you can still plan your family life, hobbies and days off.

An apprenticeship or a work placement – which is the right choice?

We offer training in a range of professions and provide work experience placements for school pupils, as well as compulsory and voluntary placements. On the work experience application form, you can select several areas of interest and your preferred time period.

Managing Director

Since 2007, when Carmen and Jens Ellinger took over the derelict “Ferienpark Oberwiesenthal”, we have been putting our heart and soul into hosting guests in the Ore Mountains. Step by step, they have transformed what was once an unassuming complex into today’s Elldus Resort – a Familotel situated right at the foot of the Fichtelberg. As a family who hail from the region themselves, they know exactly what makes for a thoroughly enjoyable family holiday – and live out their motto, ‘By families – for families’, every single day. The resort is now run by the second generation – with a personal touch, a friendly approach and a great deal of attention to detail.
